Day five brings us to a prayer of thanksgiving for God’s Word. God in his Wisdom has preserved his words for all generations. Every day, when we open up our Bibles, we hear from God. We need to be in God’s Word daily because every day we need to hear God’s words to us.

Today’s passage is 2 Timothy 3:16-17:

16All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
